Recipe for Italian Chicken on the Grill
This is a tasty and easy way to do chicken with an Italian flair.
- Whole Chicken
- 1 bottle of Italian Dressing (Oil and Vinegar)
- Roasting Post
Rinse chicken in cold water and pat dry with paper towel.
Place chicken in large sealable bag and pour in ALL but 1 Tbsp of Italian Dressing. Shake and refrigerate for 12/24 hours.
Preheat Grill for 30 minutes
Pour remaining dressing in a measuring cup with 1/2 c of warm water and pour into your Roasting Post. After placing your chicken on the Roasting Post, stand the chicken in the center of your hot grate. Cook the chicken till the skin is golden brown and the internal temperature is about 180 F. Takes anywhere from 1 hour to 1 ½ hour.
